Coffee Futures – Sharp Moves

Trading Coffee futures has traded as low as 40c a pound in 2001 and as high as 337 in 1977. Most of the time coffee seems to be in a holding pattern followed by short bursts in one direction. Unless you are already positioned, these sharp moves are difficult to get on board once they begin. The liquidity in all three is limited, but still enough to move in and out with your dignity.
